GETTIN’ GEEK’D (1/9)

Five on the Rise

Now that the clock has hit 00:00 on the fantasy football season, it’s time to get those fantasy hoops squads in tip-top shape. The 2010 portion of the NBA season was full of surprises, as injuries, trades and the fallout from the big summer of free agency opened the door for new stars to shine. Bargain-hunting owners who like to pan for gold on the waiver wire and deal for buy-low candidates have already struck it rich with guys like Wesley Matthews, Beno Udrih and Hedo Turkoglu. Now that you’ve got that new 2011 Puppies & Kittens calendar on your wall, The Geek will get you up to speed on the next round of players whose stock may be about to rise. Podcast Time!

It's going to be a jam-packed GeekSpeak Show this week!

Si and The Geek recorded another episode of The GeekSpeak Fantasy Sports Show. This one was our best one yet. (No, that’s not just hype.) We had a couple of great guests share their basketball and baseball insight. First, we brought on Rotoworld Fantasy Basketball Senior Editor, Steve Alexander (a.k.a. Dr. A.). We got his take on the NBA playoffs and the fantasy implications of a few players. Then we talked to AL-Only guru, Eric Saber. He offered his opinions on some early surprises and disappointments in the American League. This show is informative and entertaining, so don’t miss it!
